Dr Ben, also known as Benzene, is a qualified medical doctor, a graduate of the University of Lagos. He also has a National Diploma(ND) in Mechanical Engineering(Distinction) from YABATECH.
Benzene is a passionate and dedicated teacher with over 15 years experience in helping students attain their academic goals. He has a unique way of teaching that helps him give students simplified and easily understood versions of the complex topics in the subjects he teaches.
Dr. Ben is also known for rewarding students for their excellent performances. He is also known as a mentor to several students.
About Benzene Tutorials
Benzene Tutorials was established by Dr Ben in 2010, while he was in 200 level, UNILAG. It was initially designed to assist 100 Level Science, Pre medical and Engineering students start off well with a strong grade point. It was later extended to UNILAG Foundation/Diploma/JUPEB students the following year.
In February 2017, Benzene moved to its present location, then introduced JAMB, WAEC and other programmes. Benzene tutorials now coaches students of all departments including; Arts, Social Sciences and Management Science. The center is known for producing a Lage number of students with high score /grades in their exams.
In 2018, BT produced a student with 28/30 in unilag post-utme (Ezeodili Chimnecherem), the overall highest score that year.
In 2020, B.T produced a student with a score of 340/400 in JAMB/UTME (Mohammed Zainab), one of the higest scores in the country. We also had a student with 9 A’s in WAEC and 335/400 in JAMB/UTME (Yinka-Banjo Victory). B.T also produced 12 students with 16 points AAA and over 94 students with 12 points and above in JUPEB/Diploma.
Till date, B.T has trained thousands of students, graduates and workers in different fields .
